Sunderland supporters are in for a bumper afternoon of family fun at the Beacon of Light this Sunday (25 October), as we celebrate Foundation of Light's 25th anniversary ahead of the Black Cats' clash with Leeds United.
With Sunderland AFC dedicating its annual Founders' Week to the Club's official charity, we're pulling out all the stops to make this Sunday's Fan Zone extra special!
Sponsored by Stagecoach, the Beacon of Light Fan Zone will open from 2pm, giving supporters plenty of time to soak up the matchday atmosphere before the 4.30pm kick-off at the Stadium of Light.
Fans of all ages can come together to enjoy pre-match entertainment, family-friendly activities and plenty of red and white celebrations, all while supporting a charity that has been changing lives across the North East for 25 years.
This year's Foundation Matchday is particularly special, marking a quarter of a century of the charity using the power of football to inspire, educate and support thousands of people across our communities.
And with fundraising taking place throughout the afternoon, supporters will have the opportunity to play their part in helping the Foundation continue its life-changing work for another 25 years.
So get down early, bring the family and help us celebrate 25 years of making a difference!

The display will coincide with Wear Red and White Day on Friday 23rd October, when schools, businesses, organisations and supporters across the region are encouraged to show their support by wearing the club’s colours.
Our brand-new red and white padel courts at the Beacon of Light are ready for play, with availability from Monday 12 October.
