Beacon of Light is welcoming the local community to do something good this Christmas as we’re hosting a Salvation Army Christmas Present Appeal Tree.
This winter, Sunderland is coming alive with festive magic and the Beacon of Light is proud to be part of the Once Upon a Winter Trail.
The Winter Trail is a perfect way to explore the city and is offering a chance to win the ultimate ‘Sunderland Experience’ with a prize bundle.
Beacon of Light is the first stop along the trail, with each of the 10 spots featuring a bespoke, hand-down window display alongside a QR Code for you to register your stop along the trail.
For a handy clue on finding our window art – stop off for a hot drink at Yard Nine and you will be very warm.
Our Yard Nine café has launched a 'Cosy Christmas Drinks' menu for the occasion alongside daily festive hot food specials. Drinks menu:
